How to compare businesses for sale in Qatar

Compare what is included, the location, the owner’s role and the evidence behind each listing. Use the same questions for every business before deciding which opportunities to explore.

Start with a clear shortlist

Choose the industries and Qatar locations that suit your experience and plans. Record each listing link, business type, area, asking price and current availability in one place. A salon in Al Hilal and a restaurant in another part of Doha have different operating needs; a similar asking price does not make them comparable. Separate a business sale from an equipment-only offer or an invitation to become a partner. If the listing does not make the arrangement clear, ask before arranging a viewing.

Separate the asking price from ongoing costs

Record the asking price separately from any rent mentioned in the listing. Ask whether the quoted rent is monthly or annual, which period it applies to and what is included. Note any unanswered questions about deposits, stock, equipment and operating expenses. Do not treat an undisclosed figure as zero. This comparison is a way to organize questions; it does not establish the value of a business or replace a professional review of the financial records.

Understand the work involved

Ask what the current owner does each day, how customers find the business and which tasks depend on particular staff members. During a viewing, compare the public photographs and description with the actual premises and equipment. Ask what support, if any, the seller proposes during handover rather than assuming training is included. Keep a written list of points that remain unconfirmed.

Check the source of each claim

Distinguish seller statements from information supported by records. For revenue or profit figures, ask about the period covered and the records available for review. The Verified by Biszouq badge covers commercial registration and seller authority, not financial performance or investment returns. Featured identifies a paid placement. Neither badge replaces your own assessment or the advice of an appropriate independent professional.

Send a focused enquiry

Open the listing and use the Biszouq contact options so the team can identify the business you mean. Include the questions that would help you decide whether to take the next step. You can browse public summaries and photographs without an account. A completed investor profile is required for additional details; confidential documents require separate approval. Recheck availability before making plans, because listings marked Sold no longer accept new enquiries.
