What to ask about a business listing before arranging a viewing
A useful first enquiry explains what you want to understand. Start with the operation, what is included and the information you need next.
Begin with the listing reference
Use the contact buttons on the business page. WhatsApp and email include the listing title and link, helping the Biszouq team identify the opportunity. Tell us which part of the business interests you, whether you have relevant experience and your preferred timing. Avoid sending passwords, bank details or identity documents in an initial message.
Clarify what the seller is offering
Ask whether the proposal concerns the whole business or a different arrangement, and which equipment, stock, brand assets or operating arrangements are included. If the description is unclear, request clarification instead of assuming everything shown in a photograph is part of the sale. An asking price is the seller’s stated price; it does not explain the entire scope of the offer.
Ask for context around the operation
Useful questions include how the business currently operates, what the owner’s day-to-day role involves, which facilities are used and what information is available for review. For any figures shown, ask which period they relate to and whether they are estimates or supported by records. Keep unanswered questions in your shortlist notes so they can be discussed consistently across different opportunities.
Agree the next step with Biszouq
Our team coordinates introductions and the next conversation. Additional listing details require a completed investor profile, and confidential documents require separate approval. The Verified by Biszouq badge covers commercial registration and seller authority; it does not replace your own assessment of the opportunity or independent professional review.
